Hello man! What is the best option for those who want to apply for vacancies for juniors? I already developed for android and I know java but I would have no problem learning C #. What do you recommend for junior positions?(backend)

With Glassdoor searches in my city there are currently 990 Java job openings and 1160 C# jobs. There are also significantly more C# jobs in the United States as a whole than Java jobs, and much more C# in the silicon valley area. It seems C# is the dominant language at least in the United States.

Microsoft has the best dev tools hands down. .net core is sweet.

From programming languages prospective, C# defiantly better than java at least it's better engineered and has a very strong and organised class library.

To leverage easy beginner experience of C# and usefulness of Java, wouldn't it be smart to, as a beginner, learn C# first and Java next?

I've got to admit, I'm learning Java and Spring, and it's a struggle.
